The purpose of this Board of Variance application is to vary the District of Tofino Zoning Bylaw No. 770 (1997), Part 4.11 Accommodation for an Owner, Caretaker, or Manager 14.11.2 e. to reduce the side yard setback of the A1 zone from 4.5 m to 1.4 m, and 14.11.2 d. to increase the maximum height of the cottage from 6.1 m to 7.0 m for the conversion of an Accessory Building to a Caretaker’s Cottage, as shown below:
Further information may be inspected at the Tofino Municipal Office, 121 Third St., Tofino, B.C. during regular business hours (9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.), Monday to Friday, excluding statutory holidays. The application will be reviewed at the Board of Variance meeting scheduled for Wednesday, February 7, 2018. Please submit any comments or concerns you may have regarding this application before noon, Wednesday, February 7, 2018.
