In response to increased congestion and resulting safety concerns at Cox Bay, we’re taking steps to make a number of short term interventions at Maltby Road including:
• Formalizing parking spaces along the road right of way
• Improving the surface condition of the parking areas
• Creating a separated pedestrian corridor to reduce vehicle and pedestrian conflict
• Installing clear delineation and signage to improve traffic flow
We’re also in contact with the Ministry of Transportation and Highways and anticipate “No Parking” signage along Pacific Rim Highway.
