- Volunteer Services

Evacuee Online Registration
The Evacuee Registration and Assistance (ERA) tool is a digital platform created to streamline and expedite service delivery for evacuees. If you are evacuated from your home and require ESS support, you can pre-register online before reaching the reception centre. Online registration minimizes wait times and offers guidance on subsequent steps for evacuees.
Alternatively, evacuees can register in person at any open reception centre.
Emergency Reception Centre
An Emergency Reception Centre, strategically positioned within a community, provides a safe gathering space for evacuees. Here, individuals can register for support services, access critical information about the emergency, and receive assistance. Operated by trained ESS volunteers, the Emergency Reception Centre ensures a safe and centralized hub for evacuees from affected areas to gather and begin the recovery process.
Currently, the following location is Tofino’s designated Emergency Reception Centre:
Tofino Community Hall: 351 Arnet Road, Tofino, BC
