Tofino Mayor Dan Law
“I'm very pleased to report that District Staff and Council have agreed to extend annual beach parking permits at no cost to local residents and surrounding First Nations communities. In recognition of our close regional ties and west coast interdependency, I'm pleased Council is also extending low cost annual permits of $60 to all ACRD residents” said Mayor Dan Law. “Though paid parking is certainly not on anyone's wish list, it is one practical way to tackle Tofino's acute parking issues, soaring infrastructure costs, and community amenity requirements. I encourage eligible residents to take advantage of the online resident registration service before August 10th”
